libunicode-map-perl software package provides Perl module for mapping charsets from and to UTF16 Unicode, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libunicode-map-perl
libunicode-map-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libunicode-map-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libunicode-map-perl *
You will get with libunicode-map-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
